Yoga Center offers a unique opportunity to commission Spiritually
Inspired Art. Studio owner, Janie Owens, has received success
and International recognition for her spiritually inspired
oil paintings under the name Elizabeth Owens. The two paintings
shown here were created for a couple in Texas.
Janie has exhibited at art shows, such as the
Maitland Art Show. She has been creating
this novel artwork since 1984.
Janie can be commissioned to do a personal oil
painting for you. The
process is unique in that she never quite knows what the resulting
painting will become in the end. While the standard painting
consists of
one primary face, occasionally three, other faces appear discretely
within
the background of the canvas. The painting invariably has
a message
and/or personal meaning for the recipient .
Clients may choose a color preference or
allow Janie to be further inspired as to color.
These oil paintings frequently take on a life
of their own and sort of create themselves.
To commission Janie to do an oil painting,
simply call the studio. Paintings start at $400,
depending upon the size of the canvas you
select. Anticipate at least a couple of months
for completion because of the drying time
required for oil paints.
